I am an interventional cardiologist with additional training in structural heart interventions, advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation, and I am currently an assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. I am currently the director of structural heart interventions at the Center for Advanced Heart Failure at the University of Texas.

As the director for structural heart interventions, I have been able to bring several clinical trials in aortic, mitral, and tricuspid interventions to our institution and have been a high enroller in several of these studies as the site principal investigator.
