I’m a nephrologist and hospitalist with a strong interest in critical care medicine. I completed my medical education in Pakistan before pursuing my Internal Medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. After finishing my nephrology fellowship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC, in 2020, I returned to Pakistan, where I worked as both a nephrologist and hospitalist at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Lahore.
In 2023, I moved back to the United States and worked as an Onconephrologist at Brigham & Women's Hospital/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I currently work at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as a hospitalist and clinician educator.
Although I have always had an interest in critical care, I have now decided to pursue additional training in Critical Care Medicine and will be applying this year. I aim to develop expertise in cardiovascular critical care. I love teaching and I enjoy learning from both residents and medical students.
