I was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, and went to Aga Khan University for medical school training. I moved to NY for my Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Then I moved to DC for my Master of Public Health from George Washington University. After that, I moved to Houston and did two years of Advanced Heart Failure fellowship (from UT Houston and Houston Methodist) and am now in my first year of general cardiology fellowship.
In my free time I like to spend time with my daughter and husband.
