Dr. Sarah Perman is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. She holds an MSCE in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania (2013) and completed her research fellowship at the Center for Resuscitation Science, University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Perman earned her MD from Temple University School of Medicine (2007) and an MS in Pathology from the University of Illinois at Chicago (2003). She also holds a BS in Molecular Biology & Afro-American Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1998).
Board-certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine since 2012, Dr. Perman’s clinical and research interests focus on resuscitation science and emergency medicine. She continues to contribute to advancements in clinical care, with a commitment to improving patient outcomes in acute settings.
Dr. Perman is currently the chair of the Council on Cardiopulmonary, Critical Care, Peri-operative and Resuscitation (3CPR) at the American Heart Association.
