Dr. Feldman brings over 25 years of research, innovation, and clinical expertise to the Advanced Heart Failure Treatment and Transplant program at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, with satellite offices at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Jersey City Medical Center. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of heart failure, cardiogenic shock, heart transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support devices. Dr. Feldman’s work has contributed to FDA approvals of key mechanical support devices and helped establish global care guidelines for advanced heart failure programs. He has also researched healthcare disparities, especially in African American communities. Previously, Dr. Feldman served as Director of Cardiovascular & Critical Care at the University of Cincinnati and helped establish the nationally ranked Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant program at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. He is a fellow of the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology and has received numerous accolades in cardiovascular care.
