Ruth Fisher, MBA, is the Vice President of the Heart & Vascular Service Line at Cone Health, overseeing strategic, operational, and financial leadership across acute care, outpatient clinics, and physician offices. During the pandemic, she served as Interim Vice President of Operations at Moses Cone Hospital.
Previously, Ruth was Vice President of Heart and Vascular Services at Henry Ford Health System, where she helped establish the Center for Structural Heart Disease and co-founded the Detroit and National Cardiogenic Shock Initiatives. She also held leadership roles at Ascension Health and Beaumont Hospital, where she developed Michigan’s first Women’s Heart Center.
A Health Management Academy GE Fellow, Ruth is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She holds a business degree and MBA from the University of Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, walking, reading, and spending time with her family.
