Dr. Balim Senman is a Critical Care Medicine fellow at Duke University, where she previously completed her General Cardiology Fellowship. She received her Internal Medicine training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and is set to begin her Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Montefiore Einstein following her current training.
Dr. Senman has an extensive background in basic science immunology research, but more recently has pivoted to clinical investigation focused on cardiogenic shock, resuscitation, and the design and testing of novel ways to optimize mechanical circulatory support. She is also the founder of CCCEnthusiasts, LLC as well as the founder and an Executive Board Member of the Society of Critical Care Cardiology (SoCCC)
